To understand why you first need to understand what a "remaster" is, because it doesn't mean "remake". Also, you can read the changes in the store, or the announcements, or just google it, or here..

Facts: bugs were fixed/being fixed, graphics were improved, they are adding new content next year. That's his whole review debunked, how's that informative?

Also, I didn't call yuukek a dick for his review? I said @perempter could be a dick if he wanted because he said he didn't care about the new publisher and just wanted the game for free.

This game and it's prior developer has a dark history that a lot of these neg reviewers don't seem to know anything about. They just see an old game and want it for free. Now imagine you work at THQ and this is the reaction you get after bringing a beloved game back from the dead. Sad.

It's not even a remaster, it's the same game that was released in 2012.

I get less fps in Re-Reckoning than in Doom Eternal on ultra settings and the same resolution. Like WTF?

wait you paid for a remaster and expected new content lol that was very funny. Its not a remake, but a remaster. please next time read up on what remaster means. Having said that, its very buggy with the latest patch, i hope they fix the random crashes. I hear they made some minor graphical improvement, from what i have seen in the reviews that seems to be true, also warning in those reviews, if you have the game back in the day, dont buy this one, unless you are an absoluut fan!

In my country, false advertising is a crime that can be prosecuted in the civil court. Apparently nothing happens in their country regarding this type of practice. I believe that the large number of positive reviews is due to what the game has always been, and they are not taking into account that the game they are buying could be cheaper if things were as they always were. If you were to take into account only the work of the non-remastered remaster, things would be terrible for them. The name given to this type of practice in my country is scam.
