But tbh, thats just how things are on steam - if no one would use those offers, they wouldnt exist - thats the reality.
However you’re probably up to something here in some aspects: for example even before the Next Fest sometimes in the broadcasts on the main Steam page i’ve noticed some old(released long ago) noname games with little activity in the comments and no recent big announcements, i think those viewer numbers were botted (you need around 2500 concurrent viewers to get there). So it’s not impossible those tricks are used for the Next Fest as well.
