At first glance, I didn’t think I’d enjoy Astroneer, but after watching some gameplay and trying it out for myself, I was hooked. Exploring the world is very fun, especially when you find rare resources. The game looks great and generally runs smoothly. The only exception I’ve seen is when landing while starting a game/dying, and occasionally placement of tethers becomes delayed. Wether I am playing alone, or with my friends, I have loads of fun. One thing that you have to consider as you begin playing Astroneer is that there aren’t many tutorials. Initially, it may seem difficult to identify the objective of the game, but overtime it becomes apparent. Astroneer is only in it’s alpha stage, as well, meaning that more is expected to come out of the developers. I’m very excited to see new features, items, etc work their way into Astroneer. Overall, I highly recommend Astroneer, especially if you can pick it up at $19.99 CAD like I did.

I love the game, even though I suck at it. I've invested a lot more time than I imagined I would have into this game.
