Scary space with beautiful moments

Climbing the mountain being parallel to overcoming your own weaknesses.
What I liked:
- graphics and soundtrack
- narration/story as it is very touching and the problem is kind of close to me so it’s resonating with myself
- I really felt pro after beating some of the levels close to the end
What I disliked:
- changing direction with analog stick is very irritating (those 45deg angles…) I often felt like Madline was not doing what I wanted her to do >:|

I was sceptical at first, as I believed that no 2d platformer could hook me up. Oh boy how wrong I was...
So it all started by being aroused with the graphics style. Simpilistic and beautiful piece of art. Not to mention the soundtrack, which some motives (like Greenpath theme) are truly an ear worms.
About the gameplay: at the beginning I was kind of irritated that I can't dash and double jump form the start, but I picked up the challange and managed to beat my way to them. And how satisfying that was! And how many new areas each of them uneviels! After picking all the major ones I was prepared for everything. Great exploration experience.
Bosses can be frustrating (or is that me, that I get frustrated easily?), but are definitely beatable. All you need to do is git gud .

Beautiful piece of art.

This game was really good. Atmosphere and humor from the tv-series got really well translated to the video game. Sick jokes and references. Totally dope.
