holy whale game

when in other gacha games the "starter bundle" is usually around 3-5€, here it's 15€ - this pricing scheme is kept throughout the whole shop/game lol

i come out of the tutorial already rocking 4 different currencies, hitting random bamboo gives 100 xp and picking stuff up yields 4 "Exploration" XP lol i will stick to WoW

Holy Peak it is everything Dying Light 2 should have been and then more. FOOK everyone complaining about no raytracing. The game looks great, runs great and feels great to play.

Dear Eden Games.

I love Garfield Kart (Furious Racing). I live for that lasagna life. But I have to say, this new game, it's like Mondays. Like if Monday was every day of the week. I really wish I could like this game, but the constant crashes, inability to play with just my friends online and near mirroring of that other racing game (that won’t be named) make this almost unplayable.

Gameplay itself is good whenever the game decides to work. Whenever it doesn't you'll experience the following;

-Game refuses to launch randomly because "abnormal environments have been detected".
-Requiring more than one attempt to log in. Usually lets you in after the third "Try again" click, sometimes takes up to like 20 attempts.
-Random framedrops, you'll go from 200+ FPS down to 13-20 for apparently no reason. (It's not an AMD only issue as people with RTX 3000 Series cards experience this aswell.)
-Matchmaking being absolutely cruel in the "Operation" mode, matching you with obviously low-skilled players across the board. (There are still full-premade squads absolutely crushing those lobbies.)
-The game sometimes forcing you to sell your ingame loot on the auction house at a loss instead of selling it straight to the "vendor".
-If you have any chrome or electron-based apps (Discord, Spotify etc.) open in the background whilst the game is running in borderless windowed mode, the game randomly rolls your input delay up to around 500ms sometimes.

In general there's a ton of weird small bugs that <all together> ruin the overall experience. Sure it's better than BF2042 but if you're looking for the Battlefield experience, just wait for the one dropping 2025. People are complaining about cheaters here, but I've not encountered any so far since the early closed betas. Not to say that cheaters don't exist (as they do in all online games) but I'd rather play Tarkov or Arena Breakout Infinite as they're more rounded games in general.
