This is not an idle game. If you do not play with an autoclicker, you basically cannot look away from the screen for more than 1-2 seconds without being 'punished'. When using an autoclicker, you can't use your PC for anything else, since the game has to be focused (at least as far as I know, I couldn't figure out any way around that).
Even if you aren't using your PC when playing the game using an autoclicker, there are several game mechanics (bonus stages, chest hunt) which will freeze your progress every few minutes until you come back to complete them.

Ignoring the fact that it's not an idle game, simply an incremental one, the game is okay. There are many things that are frustrating early on, which you then can buy an upgrade to "fix" later. For example the fact that it's very easy to miss the random boxes, or jump over them.

The "procedural maps" are a joke. During normal gameplay, the map is nothing more than the background. The bonus stages are composed of the same 2-3 basic building blocks per stage, and become a chore to play through.

The ascension tree is actually somewhat interesting, though in the later game the order in which you choose your ascension upgrades is more or less fixed due to their costs.

I ended up getting 100% of steam achievements (but nowhere close to all the in-game achievements) in 605 hours of playtime over a couple months, making heavy use of an autoclicker. To me, the game felt more like a chore than actual fun, so I uninstalled it as soon as I got the last achievement.

Full of bugs, would not recommend. Even just farming the achievements was difficult, not because the game is challenging but because you have to avoid the bugs.

This game has the highest quality puzzles I've seen in any minesweeper-esque game. They start out difficult and only get more complex as you go. Every puzzle is designed really well, not a single one requires any guessing, just long sequences of logical conclusions. If you enjoy games like Hexcells and Minesweeper, Tametsi is that type of game on steroids. You also get a handy drawing tool so you can take notes directly on the screen, if you need to (and believe me, you WILL).

Tough platformer that will waste none of your time on easy levels. Contains a large assortment of difficult levels, boss fights and interesting game mechanics. While DYE will take a while to beat casually, it takes much longer to actually master the game and its mechanics. It's quite rare to find a game that makes it fun to grind individual level times lower and lower, but DYE keeps me coming back for more every time.

Honestly one of the best games I have ever played.
