Mental health awareness has improved since 2013, but we still don't talk about it nearly enough. It's a nuanced topic that Depression Quest does a great job at addressing if you think you, or someone you know, may be suffering from depression.

As a game it's a 90 minute (2 hours for me) commitment to reading a lot. I think there was room for more choices. Humor is also a great tool for dealing with negative emotions, I wish this game had more of but I can understand the tonal choice.

A charming, yet under baked photography game I'd recommend if you want a wholesome stress free experience and don't mind a little jank. The sketched journal and imaginative creature designs are a cool touch and the story has its heart in the right place (if a bit patronising).

As a casual photographer and fan of the genre editing is half of job. I wish the interface was easier to navigate, especially when it comes to quickly deleting photos. Never interrupt me when I'm in photo mode! Too many unnecessary text prompts and interactive objects that don't need to be activated when I'm trying to get the perfect shot.

A cozy time that's a great way to unwind. A handful of wonderfully crafted distinct locations full of silly characters you'll take photos for. Creative objectives that won't tax your mind too hard. If you go for 100% you might get stumped a couple times, but it's worth it and won't take up much more of your time.

A simple game with a cool style. Try it if you like photography in games. Don't expect the most polished experience.

An optional 10 minute timer for all objectives is a bummer for a completionist like myself.
