THE GOOD SIDE OF THIS GAME:
- Satisfying combat
- Cool as hell, retro visuals
- Taunting the enemies of the Emperor
- Servo Skull buddy

BAD SIDE
- In my opinion, there should have been a way stronger focus on the story, with more voice acting throughout the levels, with the servo skull actually having a voice actor instead of unintelligible speech paired with a speech bubble and subtitles.
- Although I adore the retro visuals, the level design had a few really bad cases of "SIMILAR SURROUNDINGS", in a few levels i honestly thought i was going in circles when in fact i was progressing through the level, but what confused me is the fact that the area looked REALLY similar to the area i was in before.
- I never thought I'd say this but the game got boring / tiresome after several hours, because I really didn't feel like I was progressing, the only thing that made a difference between the levels were the creatures you would fight, like bosses and minibosses.... Otherwise your objective is always "find the mcguffin", honestly at one point I had no idea what was I even looking for anymore, because the story didn't really engage me, I guess.

I understand what the game is going for, but here's my opinion anyway, I'll still complete the game and all that, but it's a shame that I will have to give it a Not Recommended, when the trailers looked like the game had way more going for itself.

Perhaps it was my mistake, maybe I expected too much from the game but I still think the game would have been way better if they told a compelling story through the lens of the old retro style shooter.
