A very rewarding crpg made for players that want more tactical decision-making and less micro managing party members since there is no party.

The game requires you to be as unfair to the enemy as they are to you, it is an extremely difficult game with enemies that may seem unfair at first glance, but the game gives you a wide array of utilities to deal with pretty much any situation. It is extremely satisfying to decimate a group of enemies with traps and explosives, or use the terrain to your advantage to force the enemy through a choke-point and kill them one at a time. The story is also surprisingly good with fun characters to meet.

The game isn't without its flaws. The biggest one being no re-spec of any kind. This is extremely punishing for new players or anyone wanting to experiment, and basically forces new players to use a build guide or end up having to restart their entire playthrough because their character is just too weak. (happened to me about 40 hrs in). My guess as to why there is no re-spec is because the dev does not want cheesing such as re-speccing just to get a high pick-lock or hack skill and then switching back, but this can be solved with an exponential cost to the re-spec. Seriously every rpg needs it, you cant expect to build your game around min-maxing when new players dont know wtf they are going to go up against.

Other than that I wholly recommend playing if you enjoyed any isometric crpg.
