Fun. Simple. Fast paced. Just needs some more active players I reckon, but the bots are very solid so if you don't find any players to play against they work nicely.

Plus one thing I like to do, is start a custom game, put 2 bots in and search for an online player, that way I can play without sitting around waiting for players, then if I happen to find someone I can take a bot out and search for another player.

But yeah, awesome game, I definately recommend.

I bought this game for one reason, it has a TF2 truck and track in it. Shame though you don't get the truck first off, you have to complete basically the entire Intermediate cup in order to claim it.
And that's where the gameplay comes in...

It sucks.
The turning is too sensitive, you'll find yourself spinning out if you leave your finger on the directional key for more than half a second. And then the AI is just horrid, they just randomly use the nitro weather it will help them or send them into a wall. Unless you use a nitro to get away from tthe crowd then you'll just end up in a massive pile up that usually leaves you at the back of the pack.

There are upgrades to improve your car's performance, but money is very limited, so you'll likely see yourself going back to previous races just to grind money, and that's just it, you start off with almost every car in the game but you have to stick with just one if you want to stand a chance in career mode.

I'm gonna refund this game, I picked it up when it was $2.49 but I can get a key for that price and finally get my freaken pool party taunt that I've been putting off since EotL. But I probably will pick it up again when it is at a much lower price just to get that TF2 truck.

I will say, if you are looking for a good top down racer like this, check out Toybox Turbos, now that is a good game that I don't play enough of.

Bought this game when it was on sale and boy was it worth it.
Even if it isn't on sale, GET IT!
Somewhere in this game, you will find something that you did when you were a kid, for me, it was the train set track.
But you will also find something you did, and when you do, well for me, couldn't stop smiling.
The game also has a demo of the first set of tracks so you can get a feel for the game but trust me, this game is worth every cent in your wallet. It is so much fun and is a must have game!

This game is great fun, absolutely.
But why call it the 'Ultimate Box' when it isn't an 'Ultimate Box'?
Let me tell you, one of the main things I wanted to do in this game was get the DeLorean, but you can't, unless you buy a code cause the in-game store is closed, forever. You can't buy anything from the store, this is real $$$ by the way. That really let me down, this is just a game, not an 'Ultimate Box'. The game should come bundled with all the DLC for the game, not just have it installed and not be able to use it.
So just letting you guys know, this is a great game that was made ages ago but disapointing without being able to purchase the DLC cars.
So if your like me, and want the DLC cars, maybe buy a code before getting this, but if you just want the game, then by all means get it, it's worth it.
At least Steam Refunds are a thing so I can get a refund if I can't get the Delorean and if I lose interest in this game, which I doubt.
