I've never been interested in rogue-like games but with Hades I am in absolute awe. I love everything about this game. Honestly I can be a pretty wimpy gamer that loses interest if I'm constantly dying and having to restart, but the way death is handled in this game just leaves me excited as I look forward to trying again.

More than combat though, what I always want in games are a memorable and engaging story and characters. This easily has that. The designs are beautiful and unique. The characters are voiced beautifully and the story is interesting and even has moments out humor that had me laughing aloud.

I'm SO glad I tried this game out and I can't wait to play it more and more. Although there are hundreds of games in my library, I think this is only the first or second review I've ever been compelled to write- if that means anything to you.
