Optimized like ♥♥♥♥, but fun once you learn wtf to do

Great game overall, but it has two issues. The first is the lack of players online. (EDIT: apparently there are way more players on Plutonium rather than vanilla BO2. im installing it as i type this and will see if that's true. you can also use any install of BO2 with Plutonium meaning that you could use a torrented copy if you wanted. not encouraging it just fyi) The second is the fact that it sells for full retail price several years after it's release and only goes on sale twice a year during the Steam Summer and Winter Sales, and I personally think the latter causes the former.



I wouldn't recommend buying this game unless you have money to burn or it's on sale.

Tons of gamemodes for hours of fun. Also, this game is super cheap especially during the Summer and Winter Sales so there really isn't any excuse not to have this game.

Just one of those games that is essential to any Steam library.

Very fun, but nobody is ever online to play with. And if you don't have a compatible gamepad, get ready for a challenge.

Overall, a reccomended game.

This game can be highly addicting, IF and only if, you have people to play with. Team classes are all unique, and each one of your team members will matter a great deal especially if you are to beat the map on Suicidal or Hell on Earth. There's just something so satisfying about blowing the brains out of flaming zombies, or Specimen as they're called in this game. The graphics look like they should for a game released in 2009. The one annoying thing I found with the game is that only 32MB of memory is allocated to it by default, and so the game lagged constantly. I then had to scour the killingfloor.ini file to find that line of code so I could increase the amount of RAM allocated to the game. An overall great game. A not-so-hidden gem, if you will.
