Valve have unlawfully removed keys for this and other EA titles that were bound to our account and fed to the activation manager on game launch.

This is evidenced by the fact that the CDKEY GUI that was previously available for these titles is no longer available.

In the registry the game includes a %CDKey% variable which was substituted with the key bound to our Steam account on launch, but because of Valves removal of the key from our Account, this is fed an invalid number - hence the Activation Manager fails and all these recent bad reviews.

Contrary to belief, EA have NOT revoked the keys that were previously working, Steam (as a half baked measure for an issue they were creating where users could farm Origin compatible keys) has deleted our bought and paid for keys that were attached to our account.

Worse off, Steam Support are misleading (or blatantly ignorant in telling) with a lie that "Steam doesn't use CD Keys" This is a falsehood, many games sold on steam attach a CDKey to our account and there are popup guis built into steam for cases to inform us where a game requires such a key and how to enter it.

Steam is the merchant and launcher for these titles, make no mistake they are the responsible party for it working on Steam, not EA.

this game is written by idiots and has bugs everywhere.

can't even start it on a system with an 8GB video card because it uses a broken windows api that can only measure up to 4GB of video memory at a time.

oh, but hey, maybe if i start GTA5 in the background i can start it because that api then rolls over and starts counting again from 0.
