If you spent any time in an arcade in 1982, this game will be a walk down memory lane. Sorta, I think. I mean I'm middle-aged, so my memory isn't the greatest, but it feels like memories. I don't even know anymore.

So if you want to feel like a middle-aged man not sure if he is remembering correctly, but somehow having warm feelings anyways, this is the game for you.

Deceptively simple game, something like Terraria. What? Yes. This game and Terraria are not very much alike, true, but the feel- the combo of retro aesthetics and modern metrovania mechanics, are a beautiful thing. Add rogue-like dungeon crawling, and boy howdy it hits just right.

There is an intricately designed upgrade system that you can pay as much or little attention to as you like, three "classes" you can lean into or ignore, the game is still fun.

Early Access Review
I thought I would like this- it sounds like a blast. Put Mercury in orbit around Venus. Replace Jupiter with a red dwarf. Put a second grip of planets around the new mini-sun in its tiny habitable zone. Try and terraform... everything. Bombard everything with lasers and asteroids. Try and get the magnetosphere started.
And it is fun, all of it. For about 20 minutes. (Note: 2010 was misleading. A second sun in the place of Jupiter- even a tiny red dwarf, will eventually fling Saturn off on a enormous oblique orbit with a period of thousands of years. Mars will fluctuate between orbiting the two suns. Is it orbiting the Sun, or is it orbiting the dwarf sun? Who knows? It is very exciting. Earth's orbit just sorta wobbles, but enters and exits the Sun's habitable zone.)
But after a time, I find myself looking at my modified solar system, speeding up time so every second is a month, or a year... and realize that there isn't much there there.
TL;DR: Fun for a short time, boring in the balance.

Not for me. Sounded like it would be fun, but it felt chincy and sad- a lot like Second Life if you remember that.

A lot of fun once you get the controller down.
