This game is another masterpiece from Supergiant Games. I have tried several action roguelikes, but they just aren't my thing. I always feel like it's pointless repeatedly doing the same thing at a harder difficulty just to skill-check yourself. However, Hades brings along it an amazing atmosphere, lore, and story that gives purpose to the runs.

The best way I can describe my fondness for Hades is that the "run" feels more like entering a "world" since there's legitimate explanations on why you're continuously trying to leave the underworld. The combat is basically Bastion's but improved upon even more. Highly recommended if you're even slightly interested.
