I've been following the destiny series since it was first previewed in a gameinformer magazine sometime back in 2014. I played for the first time during the Taken King and fell in love with the gameplay. I had a great time playing through what D1 had to offer and was loving the series. Then D2 dropped. It was without a doubt a downgrade on every level. It was such an infuriating and boring experience that I gave up the series. About 6-7 months after D2 dropped I picked myself up a copy on PC through humble bundle and starting playing again. Since then I have experienced almost everthing that is in the game, all the highs and lows. After all of the experiences that I've had with the series I can do nothing but recommend that people give it a shot. Destiny is in one of the best places it's ever been. There are two strong DLC's with large amounts of content for those who decide to just play for free. Every three months we get a content drop, and sure they aren't as large as during year 2, but that's still something new for people who want more content. With 3 raids, a reasonably sized list of strikes, a multitude of PvP modes, an unique PvEvP mode, a plethora of armour and weapons from across all content, there has never been a better time to give the game a chance. And the best part is that if you turn around and go "I don't really like this", all it has cost you is time. With all of that said, just give it a go and you might find the little bit of magic that has kept me playing for all these years.
