Great game, but wish they didn't stop developing it. They could add so many more Campaign and expansions of the war for other parts. Even if they had community workshop to let others do so it would been nice.

At this time I wouldn't get this. We where promised paints and got them, but it was all the old paints from like 2 years ago. None of the new ones we know are in the API files. They said they would give us more in 30 days, it's now going on 4 months and not one new paint. Half the paints are locked behind RNG loot permits you can only get from two chest and again that is RNG hopes they will drop. The other half of the ships in game don'r have paints, the ones we use the most which should. It makes me wonder what they spent all this DLC money on pre-release if it wasn't for more ship models and skins like they promised it would go for.

Once they fix this I'll come back and change my review but right now out of all the DLC this one is not worth buying.

Edit: I was reminded I never came back and updated this review. I'm going to leave the original review on here as it shows a problem the devs have. Promise something than take months and months to do it with little to now updates. It was about the 5-6th month they finally updated the DLC and added the paints. Now I would say if you have the game and like new looks and have the extra money to spend than get the DLC. Still a lot of the ships (about half) are locked behind RNG loot drops to get a permit to craft them so it does limit your use of the DLC, but since a paint can be redeem once a day you can easly get paints once you get your hands on certain ships.

I will continue to warn you they have big issues with breaking promises. We where suppose to get a ship as craftable and now it's special events only. So buy and play at your own risk.

Fun game that is a sandbox open worl play so you do a lot of exploring and the combat system is a nice change from older naval games. It si not a areana style play that has fast matches. There is an option fo that style of battles that cna be done, but you still have to grind up the level and earn/craft ships. People need ot remember this is an Early Release Alpha so you are basicly a play tester for the game until it goes live.
