Another victory for the right side of history

Rimworld Journal Day 429

We have been living on this rimworld for several years now and we have grown from 3 crash landed colonists to a fledgling community of 15 members. We have befriended the tribals and outlander unions in the area but continue to be attacked by pirate. The Facebeaters, they call themselves demand menial tributes from us and we pay them off since a few hundred silver is nothing when we can create mechanoid weapons and glitter tech gear (mods) with ease. However one of the most recent raids was different from the rest. The Facebeaters arrived nearby but this group included Crisalerve, the wife of one of our colonists, Ioxada. They planned to break down the wall we built with sapper and avoid our turrets. So we waited where they planned to break in and as the wall came down a sudden triple explosion shook our walls and when the dust cleared the Facebeaters were running. We had done nothing and they proceeded to run and we went back to work cleaning out the bodies. Upon looking at the demise it seemed Crisalerve had fired off her triple rocket launcher into the walls taking out most of the Facebeaters but taking her own life as well. She sacrificed herself for the love of the man who had left her behind and saved the colony as well.

Great turn based RPG at the beginning if you choose not to farm Dimension 4, but also a great idle RPG to leave running in the background while doing other things.

Can't wait to see how Soda Dungeon 2 turns out!
