Tekken 7 was a really fun and addictive game when played with friends + online matchmaking, or maybe you can play the story mode alone which is still entertaining.
So what does make this game fun? mainly it was because how the game mechanic are improved from their last title, example was in Tekken 5 we got a huge amount of damage we can pull when we're doing a combo to our enemy and sometimes we can't really do a counter when we're cornered. In Tekken 7, everything was more balanced, they bring the rage meter which can make our character use a rage drive or rage art, this is a good addition to the game because now we can do a suprise attack with rage drive. Not only that, even after 4 years they still update the game and brings balance update like buff & nerf to some characters. Tekken doesn't feel like any other fighting game, Tekken has it's own persona and feels, you can't really describe it but you know it. I've played Mortal Kombat, King of Fighters, Street Fighters, Skull Girls and Soul Calibur but none of them give the same excitement like Tekken, the only one who can give the same enjoyment was Soul Calibur. But again, this is my personal opinion, all of the games I mention are still amazing.

The story mode "Mishima Saga" experience was really great for me, imo Tekken 7 brings a better storyline than the previous title, every single character has it's own story but i kinda miss Tekken 5 and 6 ending movie because some of them have some humor in it and feels more fun to watch. If you enjoy playing alone, you can still play arcade mode and other classic mode like Treasure battle.
Oh yeah, you dont have to worry about the lineup, because Tekken 7 have a big rosters including the DLC one, so you get many different play styles, i think it has about 50 characters available to pick.
The online matchmaking was fun at some point but can be annoying too. For new player, they will usually use the easy combo button so dont be surprised when you're first online battle was going to be a spam battle including those rage art every single round. It will eventually get challenging when you climb the rank, the higher the rank you will face a more defensive opponent but agressive at the same time. When losing/winning a battle, you could even rematch with the same enemy to get your revenge multiple times until one of you get bored and decided to leave. You will see the difference later on.

Other thing i like to mention was about the customization, Tekken 7 offer many option to customize our profile. We can change our health bar, name tag, and the character it self including hair, clothing, special costume, special effect, gear, and even our character portrait that will be shown in-game and in loading screen when going matchmaking. There are so many option to express our thoughts.
So far i always enjoy playing Tekken especially playing it with someone else, Tekken will be my favorite fighting game franchise of all time.
