The game is a love hate relationship. Need I say more? Also reviewing a game that you cant even get on steam anymore lul.

After seeing this game slowly decline over the last few years I can not in good conscious recommend this game to anyone anymore. Either brand new or returning players. The player base has become so toxic and unbearable I play with chat off most of the time. All the ranks feel flooded with players that were either boosted there or by some miracle soloqueued to SUCKsess. Shortly after Epic acquired psyonics the item system was flipped on its head, consequently making my fairly valuable inventory utterly worthless. The trading scene is still there.. but it's lacks the same life it once had. I truly believe this game has run its course and if you are looking to get into it or looking to get back into it don't expect to have fun most of the time.

I had a friend who once told me rocket league was bad. I told her she was entitled to her wrong opinion and removed her from my friends list. I dont need that kind of toxicity in my life. This person is my wife.



On a serious note though.... Very fun game with a very satisfying grind to reward system, in both the items you get as well as the mechanics you gain with practice. Game can be rage enducing sometimes (now adays what online competitive atmosphere doesnt get that way) but I still find almost all the modes rewarding to play both alone and with friends. If by some weird chance you havn't at least tried this game, I highly suggest it!

Edit: Now that the rocket pass is winding down I must say it is entirely worth it, just remember to keep your keys so you get the next pass for free!
