Character rich, action heavy, awesome story. Has a very Scandinavian feel and heavy tactical combat. I suggest starting with the first game. While not quite as fun, the story is wonderful and sets up the sequel, and it eases you into the very technical gameplay.

Enough mechanics to make the game fun and interesting, but not so many that it becomes tedious. I was suprised with how intuitive things were. A wonderful easy to learn, hard to master type game. You really need to explore to survive and items are an absolute necessity. Would reccomend to anyone with the faintest interest in survival games, and even some who don't. Really looking forward to multiplayer.
