This game really got me into philosophy. I had some treasonous thoughts some game devs would have me crucified for such as: when did I start expecting games to be unfinished and riddled with micro transactions? This game has none of those "normal" issues.

10/10 I'm in a cult now.

This game used to work for me December 2022-January 2023 when I started playing through.

Then the January DLSS update happened. After this, my game would crash immediately after launching, so I tried editing settings files and such to see if it would work. Nothing, no solution, and failure from the developers to stabilize this build.

I saw a new update just dropped, Patch 1.62 now in April. I thought maybe they fixed the game finally. I launch it, it actually displays the title screen...then it crashes every time without fail. I guess they did make progress- you can see the title screen in like 6fps before receiving a crash (at least this was my experience). Tried the aforementioned editing to settings files and still nothing.

I feel every update the developers just focus on graphics settings and cosmetics that don't actually matter. I wish they would focus on un-breaking their broken game because clearly this is an afterthought given the updates.

Make no mistake, I really like this game, I do. I just want to actually be able to finish the product I received. The only advice I have:

Fix. Your. Game.

If you fixed the bugs, crashes, and everything else that breaks it, you would not be getting so many disgruntled players, like myself. I am thoroughly disappointed at the ignorance of Projekt Red in their prioritization of looks over functionality.
