If you take the story and setting from Alan Wake by confining it to a couple of buildings you get this DLC which focusses more on the action.
It tries to extend the playlenght by time reversal, which is nice the first 2 times but becomes boring after.

Dont get it if you are expecting more Alan Wake

First person puzzle game that forces you to think of 'other' solutions.
The major downside of this game is that it is not clear if you can solve a current puzzle or not. This can create situations where you give up on a puzzle while you need it to complete the game, or spent a long time solving something that you cant solve yet...

I think this game is best described as a puzzle game where finding all the different endings and secrets are the solutions of the puzzles.
Solving the puzzles is as simple as walking through the right doors which you can freely choose.

What makes you want to see all the endings? It is the 'fun' interaction with the narrator who interacts with what you do (or what you didint do).
This game is made to be started over multiple times so dont be scared that you have seen everything after the first ending that can come very quickly.

The biggest problem of the game is that you are never certain if and when you have found all the endings as some actions can change a part of the game but eventually will still lead to the same ending (or not?).
Spending hours trying to figure something out what may have no effect at all is more a time waste than a way to prolong the game.

My advice is to try to find all the possible endings by choosing the obvious different paths.
After 3 hours (for me) when you have the feeling you explored every outcome look up the other possibilities to find the remaining endings and secrets which prolongs the game by an hour or so.
And yes, you need to look up stuff anyway if you want to experience everything as 1 room is locked under a cheat command, which is more of an easter egg/ fun room, but then again so is 90% of the game, or is it?

I also expected some more life lessons or something greater out of the game (main reason for with i went looking for other solutions) but in the end we all just are pressing buttons anyway.

Value wise due to the short playtime and low replay-ability (after you have seen it all, although still usable to let others play it when they come over) I recommend to pick it up at a discount for which any value under €10 seems right.

One of the better games in the 2d action/platform brawler genre.
The funny sidekick (Fidget) makes that you dont want to skip (all) the dialogue.
8 hours for playthrough with 89% colletables on difficulty though.
16.5 hours for playthrough with 100% (actually 115% or something... somehow) colletables on difficulty hardcore (you will die a lot on this difficulty).
