It's very similar to Homeworld minus the 3 axis element. It tells a nice story but not as dynamic as the original Homeworld series.

It's just one of those fun co-op games that you can have a quick or long session without getting bored (thanks to some dynamic mob spawns). Multiplayer is there if you want to pit your crew against the internet and see how you stand. Plenty of content for anyone although best played with friends as the bots sometimes let you down (moreso than friends).
