1. It is unclear if the game, or their trashy support website collects that data.
2. If it is the game collecting it... Why do they need to know what browser I use just because I wanna play a SP sandbox game??
TIme to wake up ape, it is no longer the 2000s
Games are no longer only about gameplay. If a game has a garbage intrusive anti-cheat like Denuvo or FACEIT, then the developers are a bunch of prostitutes, because apart from data harvesting those intrusive pieces of garbage do nothing. Not mentioning VALORANT anti-cheat, however it can still be bypassed.
So yeah, if the game has a useless third party launcher which has questionable, or unclear "privacy policy", then the game is already shady at least. A good example would be Teardown and it's developers who sold out like a bunch of prositutes.
So they've probably copy pasted the same TOS for all regions, which is lazy.
Idie exists because publishers just shaft you as a creator and business owner for their own stupid ends... Sony shafted Arrowhead, Paradox shafts this developer... etc.
Everyone should just go indie.
B.c. in the EU i am pretty sure "we can change whenever without noticing you." thing is pretty much invalid.
