Most of the negative reviews for this game are complaints about controllers not working and no ultrawide, or from people who just seem like they don't like Tale style games.

Only being a little over three hours in, which is generally the most boring part in my experience, I can say that I am very pleased with the game so far. It looks like if you opt out of Beta your controller will work fine. I had no issues with mine working at all.

It's a gorgeous game, the dub is well done and I can't wait to dive in further. Don't let the naysayers scare you away!

You will think about this game at work. You will think about this game while trying to fall asleep. You will dream about this game after falling asleep. You will wake up and rejoice because you can play this game some more.

The game was enjoyable enough for me to sit and play for several hours, even with some features/areas being..."unpolished". It has a ton of potential and I would recommend solely based on my belief that the devs are going to take this and make it a masterpiece with proper community feedback. It is worth the $15 even in its current state, so long as you have the patience to deal with a bit of jankiness here and there. Take a deep breath, have some patience and you'll enjoy yourself. Keep an eye on this one!
