♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass pay2play system. For access to the whole game, which is a mobile app at best, you need to pay at least 60€. The free version is a demo, which I accept, but they lock every single map behind a paywall. Even worse, if your connection bugs out or Steam servers go wonky, you lose all of your tokens necessary for a single game, without any option to reconnect. By the way, you get a single game worth of tokens once every 7.5 hours! This game is what happens if mobile apps go PC version.

Nice game where the most annoying RTS features are just not there.
There's no artificial difficulty like in Starcraft, no resource drain on queueing buildings or units, resources themselves are simple, an AI takes over on attack move so you can leave your screen for a few seconds etc.

It makes up for that in what I want in an RTS: positioning, unit selection and tactics.

If you like games like Rim World or Dwarf Fortress, you will love this.

I would still love some more control over maximum population limits and the domestic animal "production" limit is a bit broken. It is really hard to build and use outposts for hard to reach resources, because AI is sometimes a bit wonky, but these are minor additions to an already really great and lovely game.

It is very easy to get into, has a smooth progression and a good amount of control or automatization, whichever you prefer.
Difficulty goes from easy sailing to really hard to develop a stable economy.
It also has a ridiculous amount of possible additions, like user made or random maps, going out to war, allow for multiple settlements in the same world etc., so there might be even more to come!

8 to 10 out of 10, would definetly recommend!
