Late to this post but: Thats why its called Remastered *Facepalm* Its not a remake.

I played the original hot pursuit last night and wow that game was lame back then even. Just so vapid I would never pay for a remastered version. Why would EA pick this of all the NFS games?

To the "geniuses" saying "A remaster isn't a remake". Call of Duty Modern Warfare remastered is a fine example of what we expect in a remaster. But keep sucking EA's massive unit.

EA: It just works.

Slighty better graphics and a CAPPED FRAMERATE...ON PC. No buy

i despise ea for not allowing us to buy the better original version they wont let us purchase the better version and forcing us to make a shitty EA account and installing that god aweful origin store

People miss the point of the statement in the review. It's not just slightly improved graphics.
It literally means the game has not a big enough improvement to justify the remaster name/price.
It literally looks like a fan made patch. Which is what shocked me as I saw the trailer first time.
The review is very fair in stating this is a lame product.
The only big positive is the dlc included I guess.

you know its called a remaster and not a remake ? a remaster is just like a HD patch and not really more.... damn we need a IQ test for steam reviews...

A lot of people forget that EA deliberately take down the original HP2010 from steam so people can't buy it anymore cos they know people is going to buy the original one that's cheaper, got SLR McLarens and looks pretty much the same. I know they give us the DLC that's previously not available to PC version, give us crossplay and the give us a 'graphics update' that's essentially make the anti-aliasing slightly better, it still couldn't justify EA's decision to force people to buy the remastered one without a choice to buy the original one now.
