It's a big, enormously huge even, open world where you can travel in every direction, do stuff like killing or exploration, and all other RPG stuff, but after 200 some hours of playing it feels like a flat soda. The world is too big, and the variety of objects that fill it is just not enough. It's feels especially sharp in contrast with how detailed and real the world itself is, terrain, weather, sky, rivers, streams, locations. They all feel great, they have atmosphere and character, but they are empty. Devoid of motive to explore them other than sight seeing. Complete like 50 quests and you feel like you completed them all. Kill 50 foes and then all the excitiment is gone, they are all just targets. Mod your weapons 50 times and it all turns into a chore of grinding for various junk from which you can then create other junk. Building and defending settlements is such a waste of time and unnecessary burden that just takes up your time. It's unnatural, it's not Fallout, whoever wants to build stuff like that should go buy Minecraft. I want to strategically battle smart enemies and solve impossible puzzles, and have that constant feeling of amazing world unfolding before my eyes like I had in F1 and 2.
