It’s not for everyone, but it’s definitely for me. 10/10

Love how they spoil you with some action-paacked Leon gameplay after you suffer with first person Grace gameplay. Great game! Have beat the previous 5 games, definitely not missing out on this one.

Just buy it. I’m usually pick when it comes to games like this (e.g. REPO, Lethal, PEAK, etc.) but this one definitely caught my eye. No stamina bar (hate that mechanic), boss fights with actual mechanics to fight them, varied loot to pick up, different “biomes”, and good music. Theres more to be discovered here and I’m just gonna say this — this game is bizzare and absurd but in a good way. Highly recommend this game. Even if I don’t get to play it again, I’m keeping this game to support the devs. Job well done.

Takes what we loved about the first Dying Light and combines it with features of Dying Light 2. This is a return to Dying Light's roots. It felt like Dying Light 2 was veering off what made Dying Light, well, Dying Light, and I commend Techland for trying out new things and seeing what works and what doesn't work. The first thing that came to mind when I played this game was how Mirage was for the Assassin's Creed series: a smaller open world, but a more refined experience with less filler/bloat. One example of how there is less filler is how every side mission I've done has been meaningful. Some even unlocked legendary blueprints for me and the reward made sense with the side mission story.

As a longtime Dying Light player (250 hrs in DL1, 160 in DL2, and now 40 in DL:TB), I do hope Techland comes up with more improvements for the game. Melee combat is so one dimensional and it really does remind me of Minecraft combat where you're constantly just spamming left click. I think the gore system is so good in this game and if Techland were to make the melee combat more in depth, that would make the game even better than it already is. I'm not sure what they could do, but maybe the addition of combos? Light and heavy attack could be left and right click, respectively, and from that, have an assortment of "moves" or combos you could perform. I'm sure there are many possibilities and I'm just scratching the surface here. It's just that this is the third game in the series and I do feel like there needs to be an upgrade or improvement to the current combat system we have in place. One more thing Dying Light could use is better and more impactful gear traits. % increase, % bonus, etc. doesn't make me feel like my gear (for both my weapons and armor) is as impactful as it should be. Maybe instead of +6% common craftparts loot on the scavenger armor, have +3 common craftparts loot. Instead of a % bonus damage, have every third consecutive third melee attack do 50 extra damage (or stun the target). There's just so much Techland could do here to improve the game.

Anyways, get the game, it's great (especially if you loved the first game). Kyle Crane is finally back and he's stronger than ever!

Best Borderlands to date for me. 2 was my favorite and my entry into the series, 3 was meh (I definitely didn't like the story that's for sure but gunplay was better than 2). Love the gunplay and movement, shooting feels even more satisfying than 3, they nailed the open world design (the planet system of 3 felt so disconnected), and all the vault hunter abilities seem so cool and fun to use (I didn't know who to choose because they all seem so interesting to me, as opposed to 3's vault hunters).

Performance patch fixed the game completely for me (will be different for different PCs) and it was the main issue for me. Now it's just minor stuff like default sorting items in the backpack by DPS instead of Manufacturer, simpler UI for the backpack, etc.

Gearbox definitely cooked with this one. They have something really special here, and I'm glad I'm here for the ride.

10/10 for being less than 5 bucks. Just buy it and try it already.

So far PEAK has captivated me over all the other games like Lethal Company, Content Warning, R.E.P.O., etc. I mean, I just started playing so it could be the novelty of it, but I do enjoy how the game is challenging like a puzzle game (knowing how to maneuver the terrain and manage your stamina), and super fun with friends (not saying the aforementioned games are not fun). I love working together with my friends and it really makes this game a lot more fun playing with others. Really like the unique climbing mechanic that I haven't really seen in the other co-op games. Cute game too!

To be honest, I guess you could say this game is... PEAK (I know, I know, someone's probably already made this joke already haha)!

Pretty fun f2p first person shooter! Favorite part is the gunplay but skills could definitely use some work! Feel like some skills are just useless/super weak.
