I recently started playing with a pair of friends that had played this multiple times over the last couple of years. I was terribly overwhelmed at first, but once I figured out the basics of what was going on, it all started to click. My builds were chaotic and I efficient, but once we spread them out, we were plugging away.

If you enjoyed modes minecraft that focuses on a lot of technical mods for automation, then this is going to be an awesome game for you since that is the core of the gameplay... get materials, build things to help you get materials faster, try to stay alive as the native creatures come to destroy said buildings since you're polluting their planet like crazy.

[EARLY ACCESS OPINIONS]

Pretty fun little game. Reminds me a lot of Nuclear Throne in the little while I've played. The sniper is probably my favorite class, but I warmed up with the gunner; looking forward to going back to try him out now that I understand the mechanics a little more. It seems like a pretty straight forward title, I can't wait until they add the online coop since I very rarely play couch coop. I think it'll benefit a lot from that addition, but only if they add it soonish. If not, this will fall by the wayside like to many other roguelikes.

I REALLY wanted to like this game, but I just couldn't. It seems like it would be super fun, but after a handful of hours, I was purely bored and frustrated with the game. I'll investiage some of the changes made in the new patch, but I'm not expecting much.

It was pretty because they obviously spent a lot of time on the visual aspect of the spells and what they could do, but that was the main redeeming factor.

Gameplay was clunky and basically devolved into walk backwards while throwing X spell with Y particle effects until enemy is dead. However, you cna completely ruin your ability to play by crafting spells that don't do damage if you're not paying attention like I was at one point.

Sound and voice acting were fine; I'd say at least on par with most games.

I'd say pick it up if you can get it for ~10$, but that is about all it's worth. The story isn't interesting and the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired.

I highly recommend avoiding this game. I got it for free from Alienware Arena and 100%-ed it in about 15 minutes or so. I spent another 5 minutes recording a video about why you shouldn't buy it. I'm actually a little annoyed that it will now show up forever in my game library. The ONLY reason I can see buying this game is at 95% off to get an easy 100% completed game. That's it.

This game WILL NOT work with DxTory, it'll just go to black screen and crash. Exit out of DxTory and it'll work fine. If you're planning on recording you'll have to use Nvidia ShadowPlay. Not sure about FRAPS or anything else.
