Early Access Review
The game showed some promise, however, the videos shown of gameplay show features not currently accessible, there have been no updates since release, not counting the one after 6 months of radio silence since that didnt actually update or add anything new but the version number as far as anyone can tell.

Seems alot like the devs tried to do something that was beyond them to do, and didnt have the heart or testicular fortitude to admit it to the people that they couldnt continue it for whatever the reason.

To make matters worse Steam refuses to provide refunds though the game is clearly never going to be finished, which continues to highlight the abundant problem of no developer accountability with early access.

Best Ww2 combat flight sim game on the market hands down. Attention to detail, graphics, sound, everything works in tandem to make an amazing experience, be it in arcade style batles or the realistic mode. Control wise it all feels extremely natural managing to capture the Feel of flying yet remaining super simple. The game manages to make your manouvers feel extremely impressive, even though you are flying with a mouse and keyboard. I cannot speak on the full simulation as I cannot get off the runway in that one but it seems to favor full flight stick and pedal rudder controls.

Tank wise it is just as impressive, again sound, feel, detail is all spot on. This will draw comparisons to world of tanks but it's a wholy different beast. It's sort of like comparing CoD to Battlefield, both games feel authentic but one has a more sim feel while the other is more arcade. That said, I feel like War thunder comes slightly above WoT due to the various simulation modes, there is an arcade mode for regular play, the realistic/historical mode for a bit more realism, and the full on simulator mode for more accurate depiction of how these vehicles actually handled. Comparing it back to WoT though, this game has fewer vehicles at this time, so variety wise WoT is still winning there.

All in all an amazing game worth your time to play, after all it's F2P so why not, you won't regret it.

The game was made between some ex Terraria devs (unsure the number or which) and an entirely new team. They genuinely seem to be dedicated to making this game awesome and don't seem to plan dropping support any time soon(well especially since it's still being developed). The game is much more than Terraria in space which no doubt it's being called already. It has a clear progression path with checkpoints along the way both in gear and world exploration.

The best part of it is that you have the freedom to go to any number of randomly generated worlds. The crafting is quite thorough and there a myriad of things to craft already. Graphically the style is very cartoony or cute but smooth and polished looking and it plays well and has good animation. Keep in mind also this is in beta/alpha as of this writing and thus can only improve.

Edit: Now having played it some good time I can think of a few negatives, currently gear is balanced oddly, most of the crafted gear is far better than drops thus diminishin sense of discovery, an issue also prevalent in Terraria. It could greatly benefit from a Diablo type loot system, but at the moment its more about gathering, yet exploring seems to be the focus and those two things are great but they seem to battle with each other.

More of the same, minus all the nice pc specific features of Black Ops2, ontop of some ridiculous unfounded pc system requirements for a game that looks marginally better than its predecessor. Avoid at all costs, there are many tremendously better shooters including it's predecessor Black ops2. Keep in mind this is my pc specific opinion. If the game gets properly optimized, an FoV slider and hopefully the ability to run in Dx9, it will then be better though it still feels inferior, the weapon sounds especially are as usual phoned in.

That said the single player campaign is probable the best so far in the series, so if you manage to snag the game on a good sale, it may not be so bad. I would say this game is worth about 20 to 30 bucks at best.
