To preface, I have only been playing for 5 hours, but I seriously do not understand the backlash the game has received on launch.

I run on almost exactly the recommended HW requirements the developers advise. On 1080p, it runs as expected (mid to high settings with quality-DLSS on, VSYNC and reflex low latency enabled). I cannot complain; it runs on 60 FPS even in cities.

I am satisfied with the vocation system, and gameplay seems to be equivalent to the one advertised and expected from this type of RPG.

The only thing bothering me is the evident ignorance of established practices of keyboard binding on PC. I'll probably be getting a controller soon. And, of course, Denuvo, but that was expected.

The extensive list of "DLCs" provided by the store page of this release might lead one to believe that you're not getting the full experience. I find that not to be true. Anything you can buy, you can acquire in the game by other means. The existence of these "DLCs" or pseudo-microtransactions does not make me feel like I am missing out on some content of the game.

Surprisingly linear considering the premise of the game. Still a lot of fun. Would be a great buy for like 30-40 €.

Surprisingly good. Paradox has had a tendency to release unfinished or broken products lately; CK3 is not one of them.

The game is more user-friendly than CK2, it has somehow managed to retain most (but not all) of CK2's (and its DLCs') features and improve some of them. This all on release. Can't wait for more.

Music score is great.
