do yourself a favour and buy it

This game is absolutely amazing. My experience with it so far (across my 2 playthroughs) has been one of the most enjoyable experiences ever in a game. The game recaptures the same charm that the original Dishonored had, and it expands upon it.

I have played two playthroughs, the first being an Emily low chaos playthrough, and the second being a Corvo Flesh and Steel High Chaos playthrough.

Emily as a character works really well, from what I've played of her. I am planning to do another playthrough with her where I actually utilise lots of her powers, which I couldn't do because I was trying to maintain low chaos. My first playthrough took about 8 hours, and I feel it was mainly that I had to reset to try and maintain ghost status, which I later gave up on as it was frustrating me. They said that the A.I was significantly improved upon, and it definitely shows. The Low Chaos ending is also quite good.

I would imagine that Corvo would be very similar to how he was in the first Dishonored, but as I played Flesh and Steel mode, I wouldn't know. What I will comment on, however, is the care and effort Arkane put into making this game enjoyable while playing Flesh and Steel mode. They put in the effort to make sure there is always some way that you can achieve your objective in multiple ways, even without the use of powers. The level design is amazing and I give props to Arkane for putting lots of love and care into their game.

The story of this game was more complicated than the first, but it expanded upon and continued the series in a logical way. It continues on from the DLC's of the previous game, so I would advise playing those first. The cutscenes are done really well, and they give good background information as to what's going on.

Now, I didn't have any performance issues with this game, so I can't really understand why that's happening to some people.
I'm running the game at above 60FPS with a GTX 1060 6GB, 16GB of RAM and an i5 6600k.

Overall, I'd say that this game is worth a buy, and I strongly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the first game, or who just wants to get into a game with some good replayability and some excellent stealth/murdery gameplay. I give Dishonored 2 a 9/10.
