At this current point in time, I cannot recommend this game in the state that it is in. First off, having a solo and a trios option but not a duos is baffling to me. On top of that, if you don’t have two other friends who are willing to consistently play with you, you will be forced to play with randoms with no voice chat and no means to communicate or have any sense of teamwork, and with the bum rush type expeditions this game has, this is crucial. You are forced to level up as quick as possible when you start your runs, or you will set yourself up to fail your run very quickly. Bosses are very tough without this leveling. Single player exponentially makes this worse. Even if you die and lose a level and respawn in, it will push you so far back you may as well restart your run. The game is beautiful and I love the environment and enemies/bosses this game has, but the scaling and the way FromSoft has set the multiplayer mechanics as the fore focus of this game will hurt its reputation.

grabbing DLC on sale and using mods will have you lost playing for hours on end as you lead your space empire and go down any path you please. highly recommended and fun with friends too

Destiny 2 is overall a very good free to play game, and the expansions just makes the game even bigger than it is. This is a great game for people who love to run small squads and enjoy grinding for a while. My problems with the game is that it does seem to get a little boring at times as game modes are limited, and if you're trying to play with a squad of 4+, there is little to nothing for the group to do.
