I cannot recommend this game. There is too much about this game that is broken in such a way to create an incredibly frustrating experience.

While I totally don't expect a realistic experience, suspension of disbelief takes things too far. There's a mechanic for hiding your shots by timing them with certain sounds - while this idea is creative, one of the things you can use for this is an intercom... according to La Selle University, firing an M1 Garand rifle registers around 168 decibels.

My position was given away by jogging (not sprinting - just default movement) because a Panzer III tank HEARD me from 50 meters away, with a cliff face between us, with the engine running. wtf am i supposed to do here

Most animations cannot be canceled, both player and AI - meaning if you shoot a man at point blank in the chest with a high powered rifle while he's climbing up the top of a ladder, but miss vitals, that man will non-flinchingly finish climbing the top of the ladder and shoot you back without hesitation or flinching like some kind of terminator. This is only one example, but there are so many of this.

The game seems to specifically reward you for "cheesing" the game. Games involving any sort of stealth require a lot of patience to play. I get that. But nothing is more frustrating than losing/dying/whatever and feeling like it wasn't your fault, but the game's.
