WHAT A GAME.

I absolutely adore this game - it's one of the only games that I have come back to time and time again, on both Xbox and PC. I actually cannot get enough of this game. Odyssey is, without a doubt, the BEST instalment in the AC franchise, and Ubisoft have outdone themsevles with how compelling and how bloody brilliant Odyssey is.

I've been a big AC fan ever since the beginning, from the very early Altair and Ezio days, and was always sure Brotherhood would be my favourite, but since playing Odyssey it has very firmly taken the top spot. Not only to be able to pick between a female lead (Kassandra) as apposed to just a male lead (this was never an issue for me, but I loved that in this game we had a choice), the sheer expanse of the map, the loveable characters who help us along the way, and being able to learn about the important icons in Greek Mythology as well as the monsters (which I have to say, have some of the best battles I've ever seen and played in any AC game).

It is so rare for an already incredible and well established game to have two equally incredible DLCs, but The Fate of Atlantis + Legacy of the First Blade are both amazing DLCs that enrich the depth and gameplay of the base game. Personally, Atlantis was by far my favourite of the two, purely because of the beautiful maps we are sent to, such as Elysium and Atlantis. I've seen that this DLC hasn't been received all that well among other players, and yes it can be tedious at times, however the love that I have for this game and the franchise just trumps everything else. These two DLCs are just amazing, and I was so sad to finish the FOA storyline as it is one of my all time favourites within all AC games.

I hope Ubisoft can recognise and see the success of AC Odyssey and continue to create future games with this game in mind. Everything about it was just *no words*, and I'm actually getting a little bit emotional about realising that this game is well and truly finished after playing it on and off for 3 years. Only a handful of games has left me feeling like this, and I'm glad to be able to add this one on the list.

So long, Odyssey x
