I was making the long pilgrimage from my capital in Muscovy to Kyiv because I needed piety to reform my religion. A young boy ambushed our party, aided by a pack of wolves. It was clear the wolves were raising him, and despite some objections I decided to take him with us to Kyiv. On our way home, the boy started attempting to speak words in Norse, our native tongue. Once we returned I decided to have my mother and court tutor give him a proper education. We gave him the name Lycan.

The last conquest of my life was taking the holy city of Kyiv from the steppe lords who controlled it. I was leaving my Empire to a single heir, and the decision of what to do with Kyiv was on my mind. My final act in this world was legitimizing Lycan Rurikid as my son and granting him the Kyiv duchy and crownlands. I watched from above as he fought off insurrection from his vassal lords, then usurped the Ruthenia crown for himself and established a line of heirs- all while remaining loyal to his liege lord, my son.

Generations later, as Lycan Rurikid's grandson took the throne, I thought yeah, I would recommend this game to other players.
