Early Access Review
I'm not sure why this game is so addictive, but it is. The price point is great, the length of time needed to play a round is manageable, and you feel powerful while you play. However, if you can't tolerate flashing lights or are easily nauseous by blinking or spinning, this game will not do you in favors. Otherwise, it's practically a must-buy. Your dopamine receptors will thank you.

Hands down my favorite Lego game - it is so well done. Tons of Easter eggs and little throwbacks for Jurassic Park fans. Playing as dinosaurs is surprisingly fun. It's like watching the movies if the movies were rated G and cute. I did need some help with some of the 100% completion as there are a few things that didn't make a lot of sense at the time. I'm currently playing it on my Switch too. There were a few bugs/issues but I managed to get through them. Definitely worth the price, particularly if it's on sale and especially if you like Jurassic Park and its predecessor movies.

I don't even know what I could say about this game that hasn't already been said. My nearly 700 hours of gameplay should be a strong indicator of my feelings. Stardew Valley is charming; the labor of love put into it is evident in every corner of the game. The characters really come to life and make it, hands down, my favorite farming life sim.

This post-apocalypse survival game pushes all the right buttons. I've played a lot of zombie genre games, but this one really is one of the best, if not the best. There's three different modes and tons of replayability. I'll always come back to SOD when I need to scratch the survival game itch.

tl;dr - this game glorifies sexual assault

This is the only game I've ever refunded, and the fact that it has so many positive reviews is what's convinced me to write this negative one. Those positive reviews are absolutely misleading. If you like boobs, awesome. If you like playing games one handed, awesome. I will recommend some games for you.

But if you like games where they literally force you to gang rape a character to punish her, where you're required to cause pain to someone and ask them if they like it... this is not cool. You know this isn't cool. This game is exactly that. I played the first girl, and I was so uncomfortable that I thought "it must just be this level; the reviews didn't mention this but maybe it gets better." It does not get better. It gets worse.

If you have a mother, sister, aunt, grandma, girlfriend, wife, two X chromosomes, or a conscience, please do not support stuff like this. The fact that this game has an "overwhelmingly positive" rating is nauseating. We, as a society, should be better than this. This game has some awesome art, fun puzzles, and a pretty sexy pleasuring system that could have been so good in this genre... but non-consensual masochism, sexual assault, and rape should not be viewed as overwhelmingly positive in any conceivable way. Ever.

I've finished the game for all normal, special, and other endings - takes about 15 hours. Overall, I really enjoyed this game. I thought the writing was great. Nicole seemed like your modern day college student. Her wit was memorable, and I'm pleased that she had faults as well, giving her a more well-rounded personality.

The mystery was not particularly difficult to figure out, but seeing how each romance dealt with it was entertaining. There were some creepy moments throughout the game - nothing scary, but it was still well done.

I suppose if I had to change something about the game, it would be less repitition. Your entire semester is identical for each path, so you start to skip the dialogues and scenes. Short of zeroing in on one of the boys' paths, there was no deviation. I felt like that may have been the intention at one point during development (Nicole breaks the fourth wall and tells you who one of the characters are - but you already know this because you've been forced to play those scenes already).

I also would have preferred more choices. It's a massive grind to get your clues and primary stat up, and I think more dialogue choices would have helped with that. Overall though, I really liked playing it and would recommend it to others interested in visual novels.

While there are similarities to Japanese-style visual novels, this one is basically a Harry Potter knock-off. That said, I really enjoy it. There are a lot of different storylines to follow, depending on the choices you make in the game. If you aren't interested in reading (because it IS a visual novel) and don't like choose-your-own-adventure style games, you won't enjoy this.

For those who do, it's an entertaining story about your character, a 16 year old girl who discovers she is magical and goes off to magic boarding school. Yes, it's Harry Potter-esque, but it has a pretty rich history. Five colors of magic, lots of rules and oaths... I was really interested in the storyline. There are multiple endings, depending on whether you make certain choices. You can romance several characters, both male and female, or befriend them - each offering more pieces of the entire story. You'll have to play through several times to find out what truly happens with various situations in the game.

It's not as deep as Hanako's other game (Long Live the Queen - which I also enjoy), but I loved the characters. My breath caught in my throat on a few scenes. I only wish I could get more backstory on the world that is created within the game!

By far, this is one of my favorite games. It's really fun, challenging, amusing, and exciting at the same time. The DLC is fabulous.

Love it so far. A bit of a challenge but that keeps it entertaining.

Cute little tower defense game that is a bit harder than you might expect!
