Having not really grown up around Starcraft or C&C, I fell in love with KKND2: Krossfire many years ago when I discovered it. It's your typical RTS game. And these days, it falls in the categories of retro-gaming. I remember playing this in high school, over a decade ago. It was my favorite game, and I still think of it very fondly. There was one particular song for the game that I thought was so amazing, that I ripped it off the game and kept with me throughout my life because I thought it was so good. But basically, it's your standard RTS, very addictive, very fun.

Those who grew up around C&C and Starcraft will call it clone, which I suppose it basically was. But the theme is more fantasy than C&C, and I like the mechanics better than I do in Starcraft (at least, Starcraft 1). Definitely worth checking out I think. Can be played multiplayer.
