SUMMARY
I really liked playing! This game is pretty stress-free, all the while giving you many opportunities to think up strategies to keep your little guys alive. If you want a card game where you can easily understand how to play, progress at your own pace, and have many cards to discover, then I think Stacklands is for you.

FULL REVIEW
While learning how to play new games doesn't come naturally for me, I found Stacklands' concept very easy to understand. By 'concept,' I mean the card functions, the combat system, and the UI. The cards are like ingredients for a recipe; If you combine them, you get a new card! It's a beginner-friendly game that allows you learn strategies through trial and error, while giving you all the time you need to think.

Things I Liked
Goals are suggested to the player, always giving you something to work towards without imposing a direction on how you want to progress.
☆ A simple UI that's easy to navigate. There are two tabs - One for goals and the other for recipes, each with their own collapsible subcategories.
☆ New goals and recipes are introduced to the player over the course of progression. That way, you aren't overwhelmed by the sheer amount of cards within the game.
Easy to organize. The cards are color-coded by type (ex. Animals are brown, currency is yellow, etc.) and all player-controlled cards can be easily moved with a drag of your mouse.
Stress-free management. The ability to pause in-game time (and move cards around while it's paused) allows you to take all the time you need to come up with strategies, or adjust your plans accordingly.

Suggestion(s) for the Developers
Something I wish Stacklands had was the ability to search unlocked ideas (recipes) by the materials needed to make them, not just searching ideas by name. That way, I could've searched up what a card can be used for instead of scrolling through each individual idea for a usage. Other than that, this game has been very enjoyable and addictive, with just the right amount of challenges for me. Thank you, developers!
