This game is great if you're playing with a friend on vc, played about an hour and a half and didn't have any games where it felt like a complete blowout on either side, since there's a lot that can change in one round. Not sure how the turn-based or team mode works, just tried simultaneous 1v1s

Puzzles are brain-dead easy, jokes fall flat, nothing interesting happens

Good art very fun

EDIT: References my absolute favorite content creator and as far as I know is the only game to do so 10/10

Amazing game with an absurd amount of depth and variety.
Online games are wracked with diplomacy even though the only in-game mechanics for diplomacy are a simple message system and the ability to gift resources. Beautiful

Just play it, don't read reviews

+ pretty neat card game, wth different ways to play and build decks
+ dispite simple gameplay, deck building can be tricky
+ I like the art and varied character designs
+ computers have interesting decks and play them well most of the time

~ humor is alright

- no penalties for losing, so you can just rechallenge until you get a good hand and they get a bad hand the whole game
- previous makes deck building and card buying/creating a chore rather than a necessity
- post-game fights are piss easy
- no multiplayer

Total: Good time killer if you get it cheap

Normally I don't like rouge-lites (there are permenant upgrades to characters) but this one is alright.
Lots of fast paced-action and decent humor.
Gameplay is interesting and varied.

Combat isn't very interesting, no penalty for grinding (aside from age).
The whole "managing" part is just putting one person in school and throwing your non-mains in an automated dungeon crawl. No giving fight orders, no party relationships, no character personalities.
I was hoping for something like My Life as a King, with more emphasis in management, but got a lazy RPG instead.
