EDIT APRIL 8TH 2025: They fixed endless mode!!! It's super fun now :)
Thanks to the devs for all their hard work <3

Originally Haste came out to somewhat of a shaky release- plenty of bugs and softlocks, and some VERY unbalanced things (some of the bosses were extremely difficult, endless mode was really boring and easy, etc.), but the developers have been amazing in listening to the community and implementing changes to make the game more enjoyable for everyone. Regardless of the game itself, I think that behavior is something that should be rewarded and praised. The game is fun, though! It's got a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it it's super addictive!

If this looks like your kind of game and you enjoyed the demo, please buy it to support cool teams like this that are out there making actually creative, polished stuff!

The good:
- Extremely addictive gameplay loop, it's fun just running around in the hub and that's a sign you've made a fun set of controls
- Ability to customize the difficulty in various ways, including collapse speed, obstacle generation, prices of items in the shop, etc.
- 4 unique and fun powers that drastically change how you play the game
- Very cool visuals and unique environments
- Amazing soundtrack

The bad:
- Story is really weak and a lot of the characters feel unnecessary. For context: the game was originally meant to be multiplayer but partway through development it was retooled into a singleplayer game, so as a result there are lots of characters that they didn't really know what to do with. Some like Ryza feel almost entirely vestigial.
- Some balancing issues regarding certain items, some bosses being too hard/easy, etc. (but the developers are very responsive and I imagine these issues will be ironed out eventually)
- Endless mode is very boring and scales extremely slowly (again, it'll probably get fixed eventually)
- Still a decent amount of bugs (but nothing game breaking)
