For newcomers, just take some time to have your characters perform actions each battle that earn them JP, even just attacking each other if it's close to being won etc, it will help you a lot as far as earning new skills and new classes. I much prefer this over Tactics Ogre because you're not fighting massive like 12v12 battles. These are much more engaging, small, fun and the story just kicks ass. Please buy so they make more
