Of course you wouldn't respect yourself if you don't respect other people. Sinking low to get ahead because of your short-sighted desperation won't get you far, even in just a game.

If you did respect yourself, you wouldn't be playing your deck as a cannibalistic parasite. Instead of learning to make an honest living, you sell your dignity and morality to only ruin things and for nobody to win.

You don't deserve what happens to you, even if you think you do.
You don't deserve to treat fellow humans badly, even if you think you have it worse than them, because you don't even know if that is true.
You never deserve to greed or envy others, because you don't have the authority of knowing them.
You deserve to act on wrongdoers, for the outcome of preventing them from hurting others.
You deserve to live a quiet and comfortable life, either alone or helping others, if that is what you want.

People who believe that they can be unpleasant online and face no consequences have not realized that every other online user is another person behind another keyboard or controller, just like themselves. Other players are not NPC entities that stop existing when you terminate the game software.
Play your games, PvP with no punches held, and be respectful to others. No one deserves where they started in life or what they are dealt. However, the choices you make are only your accountability. How people treat you is credit to how you treat others.

Someone told you that what you do on the internet doesn't matter as a cringeworthy prick? Get some mental health help before you hurt anyone else in your ignorance. It would be better to do your own findings before adopting the same misinformation spread over a decade ago along with a lot of other myths about being part of the digital age.
