I'm going to be honest, this is bad. Like it's free so there's no harm done, but it doesn't hold a candle to Beat Saber. I'll admit I came into this expecting low-quality, I mean the logo was AI generated so there's clearly no semblance of care put into it, but I was still surprised. Of the "over 100 000 community-made song beatmaps for Beat Saber" only 9 of them come installed with the game, and they're not a particularly good 9. You can't search for more to download or play in the game, the search function only shows you those 9 songs. Groovy Labs brags about having plenty of customization options, but the options I was able to play around with were really poor and far fewer than what exists in Beat Saber already. There's no score, just a ratio of successful vs failed hits, there are extremely limited environments and sabers as available options, there's not even a pause button. In order to pause a song and go to the menu I had to walk over to my keyboard and Alt+Tab. I can see the modding of this game could make it fun, adding more songs and maps from BeatSaver or something could help it, but those maps were designed for Beat Saber, and you'll have a far better experience with Beat Saber than this. The only reason I could see someone playing Groovy Labs over Beat Saber is for piracy, to play a free knockoff of a $30 game, and at that point you're doing yourself a disservice.

I'll be honest, I didn't expect to like this as much as I do. I'm not usually keen on endless runners, but holy cow this is so much fun! The gameplay is significantly more complex than most endless runners I've seen, the music and visuals are fantastic, I really love the gacha mechanic and the VERY fun cheats/modifiers that come with unlocking boards, microscopic mode is so silly. And of course, gotta love the VchiBan characters! Very goofy, very fun, and VERY addicting. I expect to put a lot of time into it, especially with how competitive that scoreboard is getting already!

This is a fascinating take on the rage game style, in that despite being INCREDIBLY difficult, so far it hasn’t actually been frustrating. It’s really fun, super cute and charming, and actually makes me feel like I’m getting better at the game as I progress rather than making me regret every fall like so many other rage games do. Now granted, I’m told I’m only halfway through, so perhaps my opinion will change as it gets harder haha, but for now I’m enjoying it a lot!!

I do recommend you try playing with a dual-stick controller though. The mouse controls are super intuitive but when I switched playing on Steam Deck, the controller layout felt like it opened a third eye and got me schmoovin through the game far faster than I was going with the mouse

It’s a ton of fun and a surprisingly PHENOMENAL soundtrack that I wish they’d release separately cause, whew I’d absolutely listen to that daily. The only complaint I have is that in Numbers Dungeon the game doesn’t buffer your input, instead it forces you to wait to select what direction to go until after the animation of defeating a given enemy is completed, even though most of the time you already know where you want to go afterward. In concept that’s a really small complaints, but it has caused me to lose quite a few attempts at certain levels solely because I’m trying to optimize my time and get three stars and I accidentally press the direction a little too early. However if that’s the only complaint I have, I’m not too mad, the rest of the game is fantastic and I love all of these mini games, including Numbers Dungeon.

I used to play the EA mobile version of Monopoly all the time and absolutely loved it, despite the handful of issues it had it was still at its core a fun way to play the fundamental Monopoly game. Now, the EA version has been removed from all stores, and this absolutely horrendous Ubisoft version is the only legal way to play Monopoly online. It is HORRIBLE. Incredibly slow roll animations, no way to view the state of the board during trades, you can only mortgage properties if you're in debt or before rolling the dice on your turn (meaning that if you roll and land on a property you want to buy but don't currently have the cash for, for instance, you cannot mortgage one of your properties to afford it, it MUST go to auction. You also can't mortgage properties during auctions), the auction functions themselves are really bad, only letting you up the total bid by specific increments instead of setting a custom bid, being forced to use only one of a handful of specific house rule modifications instead of allowing multiple house rule changes at the same time... This game is an absolute mess and I hope Hasbro stops dealing with Ubisoft and finds a better company to bring their games to the virtual world...

This is the single most difficult, frustrating game I have ever played. It's also an absolutely phenomenal game and I couldn't recommend any game more than this. It is an infinite challenge for sure, and I'm hoping that by the time I have 100 hours sunk into it I might be able to start getting consistently good, but for now, each death is a hilarious learning opportunity, and each small victory is so significantly empowering. In a game where so much can go wrong, it feels better than ever when things finally go right! 10/10

I've played this game for upward of a year on other consoles, only recently buying the Steam version for COVID Couch Play, hence the low hours. That said, this is genuinely my favorite game of all time, and in my opinion one of the best games of the decade. It provides an insane level of challenge, an endless quantity of procedurally generated experiences, and secrets upon secrets that keep you coming back for more. And, of course, the reason I purchased the steam version, the multiplayer~ Because as fun as this game is solo, it is loads more fun playing with people who don't know how this game works and watching them learn the hard way~
10/10, could not recommend any game more than this one, at least until Spelunky 2 comes out.

One of the most astounding video games I've played in a long time! Everything from the gameplay mechanics, to the artistic design, to the orchestral soundtrack, to the incredibly emotional story just added to my love for this game!
