yeah… this game is 90% decision-making and 10% aim, no matter what people say.

everyone thinks it’s about cracked movement and one-clipping people, but most fights are decided before the first shot. bad positioning, late rotates, taking a fight you didn’t need to take that’s what gets you sent back to lobby over and over.

early on you blame teammates. after a few thousand hours you realize most of your deaths are your fault. swung too wide, stayed too long, didn’t reset, didn’t armor swap fast enough, didn’t leave when the fight was already lost.

gunskill matters, but not as much as people think. you can beam someone and still lose because you took a stupid angle or got third partied 5 seconds later. that’s just how the game works.

some things that never change no matter how long you play:

don’t overcommit. if a fight feels weird, it probably is
reset early. people wait way too long to heal and it gets them killed
positioning > aim. high ground and cover win fights
armor swaps save more fights than heals
if a fight takes too long, expect a third party. always
don’t ego chall everything just because you cracked someone

also movement is overrated if you don’t know when to use it. yeah it looks cool, but half the time simple strafing and good cover does more than flying around like a maniac and getting one-clipped mid-slide.

ranked especially teaches you patience. you don’t need to take every fight. sometimes the best play is just leaving. most people never learn that.

after this long the game isn’t really about winning every match, it’s about consistency. making fewer bad decisions than the other squad.

and yeah… you still get rolled sometimes and there’s nothing you could’ve done. that part never changes either.
