Using a 3080, i run my game on epic settings and it runs smooth for me, granted only get around 60-80fps in most areas, however doesn't really effect me to much. So the ones who jump on the bandwagon who piss and moan you need a 4080+ to use this game need a reality check.

This game is far from perfect, however considering the situation around it's release they haven't overly done a bad job of it. Still massive amount of improvements to be made, such as the constant crashing when using inventories. If your lucky enough to hear from a dev then get a lottery ticket on.

Don't be a plumsack and be moaning about rates if your on official, save yourself the headache and stress and go play on unofficial for your own peace of mind. Why anyone would want to sit and tame something that takes a week, then get owned by alpha tribes etc blocking everything is beyond me.

grass.densityScale 0 (Minimizes leafs around the map)
grass.enable 0 (Disables most grass particles, handy for seeing those littler critters hiding in 6ft grass)
r.volumetricCloud 0 (horrible to look at, and this will help boost fps)
r.Fog 0 (Disables fog, why would you want this?)

Got this game few days based on a recommendation. Pretty fun game, very chilled and fair whack of things to explore/find. Quests are pretty decent keeps you occupied.

would love to see more interaction with the water, with more hostile sea-animals such as perhaps pirhanna/stingrays/angler fish (perhaps rare loot for deeper oceans) seems there is a lot of potential for the sea part.

as for the land part, would love to see a proper tropical jungle type island with snakes/gators/gorillas (perhaps loot for say fur etc) or maybe a snow island (make use of that leather armour) if no armour is on, you will lose health etc.
