Even though Bhvr has bumbled a lot in terms of PR ("Go play Civ 6"), bugs, and balance, they're improving the game a lot. It's still "the Smash Bros. of horror". While a rather unintuitive experience, improvements to the UI, powers, mechanics, and with the help of the lovely community, it's not difficult to get a grasp on the game. The creativity when they both create characters and adapt licensed franchises into Dead By Daylight is astounding. I find myself rewatching special animations like mori kills and special menu idles with how exciting they are. Each intro cinematic has been a fun way to hype up players for an update and a day of chasing/running away. Plus, they re-added Stranger Things content ✌ The surprise Pinhead NFT is something that won't be forgotten, though.

Best Epic Battle Fantasy game, it's fun, funny, and most importantly the battles are all fun. Same classic art style as before, although the items and clothing/armor (which you can pick! Awesome!) really stand out this time around. If you like beat 'em ups or RPGs give it a chance! Has a lot of secrets and sidequests for more BS to play around with as a respite from all the battling and item quests. Also comes with a neat NPC/character creator!

I. Hate. This. Game.
It was buggy from day 1, and drops to 5 FPS, even on a brand new computer that can run Skyrim. Don't use magic. Your commands will be eaten no matter what. The fighting is a chore (you'll be forced to do a lot of it.) There's a lot of dialogue you won't care about. I didn't even remember there were items until someone mentioned it, because you'll probably ignore them thanks to your tiny inventory and dragging items into your trash so you don't get annoying entities that lag your screen even further. You hit a wall if you level up your spells, because they couldn't make experience be gained from killing something, oh no! They made it to where you need high COMBOS to gain ANY EXP. Did they mention this to you in the tutorial? No, and if you did, they were going on a spiel about a stupid arena you will ignore in-between. Everyone recommends a controller, because the game is basically incompatible with keyboard controls.
Fun multiplayer? Why bother? I judge games based on how they are singleplayer, and surprise, none of my friends bought this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, and I won't be recommending it to them. Big fat 0 grade. Nothing could make this remotely fun, especially not laggy and buggy gameplay, but with a human element.

The absolute BUGGIEST game I have ever played. Screen tearing, crashes, fatal errors, the works. It is unplayable and I hope to god you take those into consideration before playing up to the 1/3rd or 1/4th of the game that works.
