I really liked the changes they've made to the game. Class system seems unusual at first, but you get used to it the more you play. I really enjoyed the way they've built this game to be more of an active battle arena rather than loot loot and loot. Developers also optimized the game and made it nicer.

But there are still some downsides to this. Removing duo was a mistake, a game like this would only benefit from teamplay and definitely would be more fun with friends. Adding duo or trio mode would work out really well for this game.
Optimization also needs more work on it. Just now my game crashed 2 times in a row from just playing, really not something you would expect from a full release.

Right now I would recommend Darwin Project. It's really fun and nice battle royale, but I wish there would be more good changes in the future and this project won't stagnate.

Thoughts about the new 1.14 Bounty Hunter Update

I really liked the change of pace and style of the game, adding a new breath. New quests had me more invested in them storywise than any other quest in the game. Also new items you can buy for completing them sure does sound nice.

But on the other hand, they feel as repetitive as always.
Flying to one place to find a bunch of dudes, kill them and then follow the lead to the other place. Jumping like that for about 3-4 times before you get the chance to kill the big guy, who feels just like another randomly generated thug with nothing special to it.
All you get for wasted time and fuel is some tokens and level up. Without the nice feeling of satisfaction for hunting down a criminal it's nothing, and right now the game does not give you such a feeling.

The only time I felt so cool while completing those quests were random rewards on the move. Like when you find a big stash full of fuel in the bandit's hideout. I wish there were more of those. (Like, come on, you are chasing criminals down for their final hideout, and all they have in stash is 400 pixels and a couple of mech parts? No big piles of stolen money, no weapon stash? I call BS on that one)

Right now all I wish for this update is to give more rewards like that on the go, while you're completing the quest. Less flying from star to star, because it just gets annoying really fast. And maybe add some more interest to the big criminal chasing, like add them more variation of attack moves so the fight feels interesting. Have them run away from you or fly out in a mech (so, you know, you had a feeling of actually chasing them).

I wish those changes will go live, because I love this game, and I hope it keeps delivering. Otherwise, all we have to rely on is mods.

You are a colony doctor, trying to keep everyone alive on the rim.

First comes a man who lost his right leg in a battle, he begs for at least a peg leg so he can walk again. You think that you can do that, but when operation starts you realise that you took a left one, so you cut out dude's second leg and let him go. It's fine, mistakes happen, he will learn not to lose his legs anymore.

Then someone comes with bites on his eyes and neck from a turtle. He's bleeding to death, but colony manager tells you not to waste good medicaments on him, so you just bandage poor guy with some healroot.

Two days after colony manager makes you stop doing anything you were doing and help this little dog. He cut himself while hunting some rabbit, but they tell you to treat him with best glitterwood medicine you have. Having nothing to say, you do that and set this dog free.

After a while one colonist gets plague, you spend next four days treating and feeding him, trying to keep him in bed so he could develop immunity and survive. But he sees that you walked in with dirty shoes and now the floor is dirty. He goes on a mental break and dazes away in the woods, where he dies from plague.

Years pass, colony develops, you have a great sterile hospital, everyone is healthy, happy and well fed, even with a table. Looking at the walls and turrets, manager decides that we could start building a ship to finally fly home, away from the rim. But almighty Randy had other plans. Solar flare hits, turning all your turrets off, then a meteor falls right on the wall, making a big hole and killing one wandering dog, giving a mental break to your vet, pet trainer and colony manager. After that a hundred tribesmen with bows and pillars attak all together, wiping out your technological and advanced colony, while two pet trainers cry in the corner, and your main sniper pyromaniac setting some tables on fire.

Great game, would play it more often if not frustration from all the ♥♥♥♥ that comes down on my colony. Tynan, you are a legend!

Хорошая игра, не навязчивый донат. Казуальная, но в то же время не очень и система достаточно проработана. А с новым обновлением вообще круто!
